About Elvera
Spending 13 years balancing gigging in Washington DC with instruction has taught me that most folks just want to play a favorite song at a party. It is a bit of a juggling act, honestly, between the performance stage and the practice room. I have worked with many beginners and intermediate singer-guitarists over these 13 years.
My instruction covers electric technique, scales and modes, plus tuning and maintenance. Blues progressions, grade exam prep, and songwriting are also in the mix if you want to record an EP, but it mostly just happens.

We focus on the practical side of playing so you can actually perform for friends or capture your sound in a studio setting.
