About Riad

I’ve been playing acoustic and electric guitar for over 8 years, and I’ve taught many students from various skill levels and ages. My goal is to make learning the guitar enjoyable and rewarding, no matter where you are on your musical journey.

About the lesson

Teaching Method and Techniques
Hands-On and Engaging: I believe in learning by doing. My lessons focus on playing from day one, while also incorporating key concepts in music theory, all adapted to your style and preferences.
Personalized Lessons: Whether you’re into rock, blues, pop, or classical, I tailor lessons to suit your musical taste and goals.
Practical Application: I bring my experience from playing in a band to teach you how to play in group settings, work with other musicians, and even prepare for performances.
A Typical Lesson Plan:

Warm-Up and Technique: Finger exercises or scales to build dexterity.
Review: A quick recap of the previous lesson, addressing any challenges you had.
New Material: Learning new chords, riffs, or songs based on your music preferences.
Song Playthrough: Jamming through songs, with a focus on rhythm, timing, and expression.
Music Theory (Simplified): I introduce music theory that’s relevant to what we’re learning, showing how it applies in real-world playing.
Practice Assignment: Exercises or songs to practice until the next lesson.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor:

Band Experience: Having played in a band, I can offer insights into what it’s like to play with others and prepare for live performances.
Versatility in Music: My love for all kinds of music means I can help you explore various styles, from acoustic ballads to electric rock solos.
Student-Centered Approach: My lessons are all about you—your interests, your pace, and your musical journey.
