I'm not a stickler for being on the dot; I will always be respectful of your time and be ready to teach at our scheduled start time, but if we get on a roll and you feel that you want to continue past an hour, I often tend to do that; call it a "generous hour" for most lessons unless one or both of us need to be somewhere else after the lesson is scheduled to end. 

I'm also not one to get out of shape about folks being late, chastising someone for letting time get away from them or for factors they couldn't control is a horrible way to start a lessson. If you're the type, despite trying your very best to
be punctual, that's always running out the door 5 minutes late and then running back in "real quick" to grab something you forgot, well, I might be the best teacher for you!
