About Jo
I am a soon-to-be graduate of American Literature and Creative Writing at the UEA, with a life-long passion for all things creative. A vocalist and songwriter by trade, I developed a passion for teaching by spending a year teaching in my local secondary school. My experience is specifically in small group and 1-1 literacy lessons for students of secondary school age, but I am confident that I would have no trouble adapting to both younger and older students.

Learning music should be a fun experience, yet so often are our children left crying or anxious because of a song they can't play, or an exam they are preparing for. Whilst I do focus on success and improvement for musicians I teach, I also focus on instilling a passion for music and artistic expression which, while an incredibly important skill, is too often ignored.
