About Macy
Hello,
My name is Macy Samad . I've just graduated high school and will be continuing my studies at University (what my major is, I have yet to decide).
I play hockey and I water ski and snow ski. I love fashion and hope to one day own my own business.
English is my favourite subject, I've always loved reading and I gravitate to writing when expressing myself. Although I do also love philosophy (maybe because we did a lot of reading in that class as well)
I want to tutor english because I love the subject, I love to learn and I find teaching can be an even bigger learning moment for the teacher than they realize.
I have worked an entire summer as an ESL teacher. I took on 20 students, ranging from beginner to advanced and taught them lessons created entirely by me over zoom.
So, whether you just learned english, or you're tackling MacBeth, I am the one who can help.

I offer ESL lessons, structured around learning relevant foundational words and sentences that are directly applied to the student's life, outside of the classroom as well. Example: Picture slide shows, videos and casual conversation.
My high school english lessons are designed uniquely to the student's grade level and what subject they are learning. I offer support to the student when completing assignments. Example: Essays, Creative Writing, Feedback, Grammar and paragraph structure corrections.
It is all too common now a days with students to feel incompetent, and diminish their achievements.
The goal of all my lessons are to have the student feel as though they accomplished something, every time.
