A tutor of 20 years have taught numerous students ESOL and Functional Skills. I have supported Access Learners and Trinity Entry Level 3 B1 learners. I have been responsible for assessing these courses so know all relevant assessment criteria to help learners succeed.

My teaching method is to look at the key aspects of Reading, Writing and Speaking and Listening. I have taught both small groups and on a one-to-one basis. I follow assessment criteria that centres on the fundamental skills of understanding the features of text and for improving writing close attention to grammar, subject-verb agreement etc.
