Steady, real progress on the guitar — a clear path forward and the momentum to actually keep going, no matter where you're starting from.

I followed Theo's lesson journey for a while. Goals were clear each week and results matched. I'd point anyone serious toward Robertson.

Marcus treated every lesson like it mattered. Small wins stacked into noticeable change. Robertson is a solid pick.

Morgan was a great music student. Always prepared, practiced between lessons, and made real progress on technique and confidence. I recommend Robertson as a tutor.

Robertson and I worked through a corporate finance unit on capital budgeting, the part where you compare projects with different cash flow timing. I could set up the formulas but had no sense of which project actually made more sense to pick. He'd cover the numbers and ask me to argue for one option using nothing but intuition first. I picked wrong more than I'd like to admit. By the end I could defend a choice before running a single calculation. He also untangled a discount rate mistake I'd carried across three homework sets.

Robertson worked with me on my managerial accounting class, mainly the cost-volume-profit stuff where I could crunch break-even numbers but had no clue what the answer was actually telling a business owner. He'd make me explain what decision the number should change before we touched a formula, and for weeks I just described the math back to him instead. Somewhere near the end it finally connected to real decisions. He also looked over a group project slide deck the night before it was due.

Robertson helped me get through my financial accounting class, specifically reading balance sheets, which I could recite definitions for but never actually connect to what a company was doing. Before explaining a ratio, he'd have me guess whether the numbers meant the company was healthy or in

Robertson tutored me in intro economics, mainly supply and demand shifts, which I could describe but never actually predict on a graph. He'd give me a scenario, like a tax change or shortage, and make me sketch what happens before explaining anything. My first guesses were usually backwards. After a few weeks I stopped needing to second-guess every curve I drew. He also moved a session earlier when my schedule got messed up without making a big deal of it.

Robertson helped me get through probability for my stats course, specifically conditional probability, which I kept solving by accident instead of actually understanding. He'd give me a real-world setup and ask what information I already had before letting me touch a formula, and I'd usually leave something out. Took a while to stop doing that. He also answered a late-night message when a homework problem made no sense right before it was due.

Robertson Malcolm and I went through statistics together, mostly the unit on hypothesis testing that made zero sense to me on paper. He'd give me a scenario and ask what result I'd expect before we ran any numbers, so I actually had to commit to a guess instead of just following steps. Wrong a lot at first, but it made the concepts stick differently. He also answered a couple confused messages before my final without making me feel dumb for asking twice.

Robertson explained a piano passage in a way that finally made the harmony make sense instead of feeling like a list of notes to memorize. We tried several fingerings, marked the places where I was tensing up, and rebuilt the section at a slower tempo. I left the lesson knowing exactly how to practice it on my own.

Joined my daughter's lessons just to keep up, and only now do I see how far we've climbed with Rob.

Squeezing sessions between shifts and lectures made every step feel invisible until my grades this semester proved otherwise.

Booked this as a small breather from work chaos, and when one method flopped Rob switched gears immediately, no fuss.

Ready to give up after a lousy tutor, but with Rob it took just two sessions before I stopped struggling and started sprinting through material.

Meant to try Rob once after a rough workday, ended up locking in four more sessions by morning.

YouTube tutorials only went so far, but Rob picked up on my exact trouble spots without me saying a word.

Kept tripping over the same grammar rule for weeks, and Rob just calmly explained it a different way each time until it stuck.

I struggled with the same concept repeatedly, and Rob never rushed me, which finally helped me get it.

Signing up for lessons surprised me with how much I began to genuinely enjoy the subject alongside my child.

No question felt too silly with Rob; his supportive attitude totally encouraged me to dig deeper into the material.
