About Jonty

I have been playing the guitar for 20 years. In that time I have toured and gigged professionally and written and recorded my own material.

Most recently I toured theatres as Buddy Holly, playing and singing his songs - so rock n’ roll, along with blues and folk styles of playing are particular strong suits of mine.

About the lesson

Specialising in rock, blues and folk. Acoustic and Electric lessons available. Aiming to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere which is beginner friendly and productive!

My approach is about learning what makes the guitar interesting and appealing to you - and working with that to help maintain your passion and interest for it.

That means getting to know what music you like and tailoring the learning around that - so it remains fun and makes you WANT to learn! Rather than it feel like a chore.
