About Alex
I have worked as a professional musician for 15 years: teaching, writing, recording, producing, and touring. I'm proud to have taken part in the production of over 10 records that have been played for thousands of folks all over the United States and Europe. I have also taught privately and in art schools for the entirety of my career, and I love getting into music at the ground level with my students. It all starts here.

I like to work with my students based on their individual needs and wants. If you want to learn songwriting as a hobby, we can do that! If you want to make it your career, we can make that happen! If you want to write a song that never leaves the house, we can arrange that! If you want to write a song that you can perform to 500 people, we can accomplish that too! It's all based on what you're looking to gain, and what you're willing to invest time-wise. I can't wait to work with you!
