About Edilson

I am a Music Graduate from Colombia. I have tutored guitar to both beginner and intermediate students. I also have experience working with children.

I have played live extensively in both small venues and festivals, and recorded in a professional studio environments.

About the lesson

Hi everyone!

I am a professional musician from Colombia currently based in the UK with 20 years’ playing experience. I'm keen for the lessons to be a fun and comfortable environment where you can make as much progress as possible.

I trained with the Biblioteca Soledad Rengifo, the Casa de la Cultura de Santa Rosa de Cabala and the Centro Cultural Lucy Tejada, achieving the high classifications. I'm a singer songwriter and am currently working with some exciting and emerging musicians.

I teach all ages and abilities and I cover a wide range of genres - jazz, rock, classical, pop etc. I regularly help students with:

-All aspects of technique
-Learning songs
-Preparing for grade exams
-Music theory, chords & scales
-Improvisation
-Rhythm & groove
-Composition
