About Cauê

Cauê Flexa is 19 years old and entered the world of music in 2017, playing guitar, electric bass and taking music lessons during high school at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC). He has a diploma in Initial and Continuing Education or Professional Qualification (FIC) in acoustic double bass, theory and musical perception. In addition, since 2019, he has been a double bassist for the IFSC Experimental Orchestra (OEXP). He is currently pursuing a degree in Music at the State University of Paraná (UNESPAR). Over the years, he participated in several concerts and many live performances, thus gaining experience in ensemble practice.

About the lesson

Nice to have you on my profile! I'm Cauê, bassist and guitarist.

I give to beginners and intermediates, including the level "never even touched an instrument in my life".

The contents I teach are:
[ N]1. Basic to intermediate-advanced musical theory, which include:
- sound properties
- basic elements of music
- reading and writing of score, cipher, tablature and other musical notations.
- The whole ocean of notes, chords and how they behave in the musical universe.
-> For this, I use the Bohumil Med Music Theory method, by which I was literate.

2. Electric bass and/or guitar:
- How the instrument works and what is its function in the music;
- Posture and ergonomics when playing the instrument;
- Repertoire;
- Exercises in technique, motor coordination & finger independence;
- Theory applied to the instrument
-> For the instruments, I use the Bass Electric Composite, by Dan Dean, and Elementary Principles of the Guitar, by Orlando Fraga.
