I adapt each lesson to fit the learner's age, interest, and goals—whether they’re aiming for formal music exams, live performance, or simply exploring music as a hobby. Here’s how my lessons usually work: Goal Setting: In the first session, I discuss the student’s interests and objectives—this helps in planning a custom path forward. Foundations First: I emphasize strong basics—pitch, rhythm, ear training, and proper technique—whether it's vocals or instruments. Creative Engagement: I incorporate activities like improvisation, songwriting, and listening exercises to develop creativity and confidence. Structured Progress: Each lesson has a clear structure—warm-ups, core topic practice, fun musical exercises, and feedback. Hybrid Learning: I can teach both online and offline. For online sessions, I provide digital materials, backing tracks, and regular feedback videos. Trackable Growth: I regularly review progress and adjust the plan to keep students challenged and motivated.
