About Emily
I bring years of experience as an educator, curriculum developer, and creative professional to every lesson. My background includes developing educational materials, designing learning experiences, and working closely with learners to make complex ideas approachable and engaging.
I hold a bachelor’s degree and have extensive experience creating and adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to listen, identify strengths and areas for growth, and tailor lessons accordingly.
For English learners, I focus on practical communication, reading, vocabulary, and clear American English pronunciation. For students developing literacy skills, I provide patient, structured support while building confidence and independence.
You can expect me to come prepared, communicate clearly, and take your goals seriously. My goal is not simply to teach a lesson, but to create a learning experience where you can make meaningful progress and feel increasingly confident using English.

As a creative educator, songwriter, and lifelong learner, I bring imagination, storytelling, and curiosity into my lessons. I work with students who want to strengthen their speaking, reading, literacy, vocabulary, and pronunciation, whether they are learning English as a new language or building greater confidence with English they already know.
I also specialize in general American English pronunciation, helping students develop clear, natural-sounding speech and become more comfortable understanding and being understood by others.
My lessons are supportive, engaging, and adapted to the individual learner. We’ll use conversation, reading, stories, and topics that genuinely interest you to make English meaningful and useful—not simply something to memorize.
