Hello, my name is Dorian Voinea and I study classical guitar at the Royal Academy of Music from London. I graduated from The Purcell School of Music. I teach guitar for all levels.

About Dorian
Different from other children, who start studying music at a young age (4-7 years) following a strict program, with assiduous and somewhat boring work, for me the study of music started around the age of 9 and it was more of an accident than a conscious decision or parental guidance.
Simply one day, a gentleman came to visit us at home, Tica Valentin, guitarist and vocalist in a rock band, a not very well known but very good band.
Of course, he had a classical guitar with him on which he plays and delights us with various folk-rock songs.
That was the first time I heard, saw and tried a classical guitar!
It was love at first sight...I was fascinated by the sound, the shape, the fine beauty and curve of the instrument...I simply didn't want to give it back, rattling by ear, various pieces of melody on a single string. Now I am a student la Royal Academy of Music.
I want to present this feeling to you too. I don't want to force you to study, I want to make you love and enjoy playing the guitar.

The method I use in my lessons is based on Julio Sagreras' guitar book. At the same time, I gathered information from famous teachers like Manuel Barrueco (America), Francesco Mariani, Michael Lewin (UK), Patrascu Catalin (Romania) and Costas Cotsiolis (Greece) that I can't wait to share with my future students.
