About Vikram
Hey! I'm Vikram, a passionate musician and guitar teacher with over 5 years of teaching experience. I teach guitar and ukulele to students of different ages and skill levels, both online and offline.
Being largely self-taught has helped me understand the struggles beginners face when learning an instrument. My approach focuses on making lessons enjoyable, practical, and tailored to each student's goals.
Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, understand chords and music theory, improve your rhythm, or build a strong foundation from scratch, I'll help you learn step by step at your own pace.
My goal is simple: to make learning guitar or ukulele fun, comfortable, and something you genuinely look forward to!

Every class is divided into two fun, practical parts.
Part 1 — Finger Exercises & Warm-Up:
We start by working on finger exercises and technique, where I teach you the right way to practice and warm up before playing. These exercises are meant to become part of your everyday practice routine, and with every session, you’ll get new exercises as you progress. I know practicing alone can sometimes feel boring (or get skipped ), so we’ll do it together in a fun, jam-like environment and build the habit naturally.
Part 2 — Rhythm & Melody:
The second half focuses on either rhythm or melody, alternating or continuing depending on what we're learning. Here, you’ll understand the fundamentals, structures and patterns behind what you play, while building a visual map of how music is actually put together. You’ll learn the concept, practice it, and then apply it to your playing.
And every session comes with its own little perk — song suggestions tailored to what you’re learning! Sometimes, the best way to understand a concept is through music itself, so we may break down a song, understand how it’s structured, and even learn it together in a single class.
The goal isn’t just to teach you songs — it’s to help you understand your instrument, understand music, and eventually figure things out on your own.
