About Ruby
My passion for guitar began through a love of live music and the freedom that comes from creating sound through an instrument. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance and begin teaching students who wanted to develop their own musical abilities. During my 4 years of teaching experience, I have enjoyed helping learners reach important milestones.
I believe learning should be positive, engaging, and adapted to each student’s needs. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence through understanding and regular practice. I enjoy supporting students as they overcome challenges and discover new possibilities in their playing.
Outside teaching, I spend time performing, learning new musical styles, and studying different approaches to guitar technique. These experiences allow me to bring fresh ideas into every lesson. Helping students grow into capable and enthusiastic musicians is what makes teaching so meaningful to me.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students develop practical skills while enjoying the process of learning music. We cover chord progressions, rhythm training, picking techniques, fingerstyle patterns, strumming control, and musical timing through structured and engaging activities. Lessons are paced carefully so learners can build confidence with every step.
As students progress, we work on improvisation, fretboard knowledge, tone development, solo techniques, and musical interpretation. I tailor lessons to match each student’s interests and goals, creating a learning experience that feels both challenging and rewarding. Consistent feedback helps learners recognize improvement and stay motivated.
I encourage students to explore their creativity while developing reliable technical skills. My goal is to help learners become confident players who can enjoy music independently. Every lesson supports growth, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for the guitar.
