About Isabella
I’m a guitarist with a Bachelor of Music in World Music (Guitar Traditions) and 4 years of experience teaching. My background allows me to combine academic knowledge with deep experience in genres like metal, shred, and progressive rock. I specialise in guiding students towards blistering speed, precision, and clean technique. Lessons are hands-on, practical, and designed to break down complex skills into manageable steps. We cover alternate picking, sweeping, tapping, and phrasing at high tempos. I enjoy teaching both children starting their guitar journey and adults aiming to master advanced techniques. Each student gets an approach that fits their goals and learning style. I emphasise patience and consistency while also inspiring creativity. My world music studies add a unique perspective, giving students ideas for rhythm and improvisation. I want students to feel both technically strong and musically original.
