About Candice
"Teaching music gives me a rhythm that keeps me connected to my roots. You deserve a mentor who understands the soul of the guitar and the nuances of the Latin music scene.
I earned my BA Music + Spanish at the University of Melbourne and have gigged across Australia for 13 years. Throughout this time, I have guided 440 students toward finding their own unique voice.
My approach centers on the Chilean nueva-cancion tradition. I work with absolute beginners, performance-focused students, advanced learners, returning learners, and self-taught players wanting structure.

"Your first session starts with a deep dive into your current technique. Hands on the strings immediately. I use custom backing tracks so students can practice soloing at home with confidence. We focus on strumming patterns, acoustic technique, songwriting, improvisation, rhythm guitar, barre chords, ear training, chord transitions, and fingerpicking.
Whether you are prepping for grade exams or playing for joy, I ensure you have a clear path forward. My degree from the University of Melbourne anchors our technical work. Are you prepared to hear the difference in your sound?"
