About Cleo
My interest in guitar began when I first started exploring music as a teenager. I was fascinated by how the instrument could be used to play both rhythm and melody in many different musical styles. This passion led me to pursue formal music training, eventually completing a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance.
During the past 7 years, I have taught guitar to students of different ages and skill levels. Some students wanted to perform songs confidently, while others were interested in developing their own musical creativity. Teaching these learners helped me understand how important clear explanation and regular practice are for musical progress.
My teaching style focuses on building strong technical foundations while encouraging students to enjoy the learning process. I guide learners through structured exercises while allowing them to explore music they enjoy. Helping students gain confidence with the guitar and develop their musical skills is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching career.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students develop strong technical skills while enjoying the creative side of music. Learning guitar requires coordination between both hands, an understanding of rhythm, and the ability to recognize chord progressions. In my lessons, students gradually build these abilities through structured exercises and practical music practice.
Lessons usually begin with simple chord shapes and strumming patterns that help learners become comfortable holding the instrument and producing clear sounds. Students practice switching between chords and maintaining steady rhythm while playing simple musical patterns.
As students improve their coordination and rhythm, lessons expand into scales, fingerstyle techniques, and full song learning. Students also explore different musical styles such as acoustic, pop, and basic classical pieces. My goal is to help learners develop confidence on the guitar while also encouraging creativity and musical exploration.
