About Nina
I am a dedicated guitar teacher and performing musician with over 7 years of experience. My Bachelor of Music in Composition (Guitar Emphasis) shapes my understanding of both technique and artistry. I regularly compose and perform in acoustic fingerstyle and classical styles. Performance experience informs my teaching.
I teach beginners and advanced players with equal care. Fundamentals, tone, and interpretation are all important in my lessons. I encourage students to listen carefully and play expressively.
My lessons emphasize musical awareness and creativity. Students learn classical repertoire and personalized arrangements. I aim to help every student build a lasting connection with music.

My lessons focus on clarity and musical understanding. We begin with hand coordination, rhythm accuracy, and basic chord knowledge. Students quickly feel more confident.
Then we study different musical styles. Each genre teaches a new skill. Funk improves rhythm, metal develops precision, country teaches picking, and jazz builds harmony knowledge. Students adapt technique for each sound.
I help students expand their musical thinking. They learn to play in bands, recordings, and practice settings. Ear training is included. The goal is flexible musicianship. Many musical options become available.
