Guitar, bass and music theory instructor with over 25 years performing and teaching.

Perfect! Taking lessons with Duncan has been great, he is a very experienced and knowledgeable musician. His personalized focus is defined by his ability to quickly tailor the lessons upon your skill level and help target specific goals. He is patient and understands that each student is different. I am very happy about the decision I made, and I feel confident that Duncan will help provide the tools I need to build upon my musical journey with guitar.

Perfect! My second lesson today reflects that I’m self taught and lacking true skill sets. I hadn’t picked up my guitar in 20 yrs. At 69, I’m excited to start this journey with Duncan. He provides encouragement, and so much patience, which makes me feel at ease . Clearly he has a heart to share his knowledge and watch his students succeed.

Perfect! A great teacher that is able to take a total beginner, like myself, through each stage of learning allowing me to grasp a full understanding. Vary encouraging and enables me to play at my best, while still pushing and challenging me each step.

Perfect! Duncan has been patient with me and explains concepts in a way I can comprehend.

Perfect! I truly enjoyed working with Duncan and he was able to give me many tips and tricks during our lessons. He understands the rush to start playing songs but first helped me work on my initial technique to better my skills in the long run. He is very knowledgeable and easygoing as an instructor which is helpful for learners. Thanks!

Perfect! Only one session in and I can tell Mr. Duncan is a great music instructor. With his pace and calm demeanor, I could not have asked for a better instructor. He gave me the encouraging feeling that I could be a great guitar player tomorrow. I still have a long ways to go but I am definitely looking forward to our next session.

Perfect! Duncan has a very clear passion for music and teaching, and it shines through in the lessons. I look forward to our time slot and have been given plenty of exercises to keep me busy and improving in between. Highly recommend!

Perfect! I'm only a few lessons in with Duncan, but I am very comfortable passing some praise to Duncan. I'm an older learner (65). I tried to learn to play on my own for several years. After the first lesson with Duncan he/we found a few easily correctible issues that I had incorporated and have been going more smoothly every since. I find the lessons affordable and all praise to Duncan for the instruction.

Thanks Duncan for tolerating the awful sounds that come from that guitar right now. I look forward performing music (not just sounds) very soon.
