About Nyra
I’ve been teaching guitar professionally for more than 7+ years and hold a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies. I’m especially passionate about helping students develop advanced ear training skills. Transcribing solos by ear is one of my favorite areas to teach. It builds independence and sharpens musical memory. We also work on identifying chord progressions directly from recordings. This improves harmonic understanding. I guide interested students through practical perfect pitch exercises. Consistency plays a huge role in success. My teaching style is focused and encouraging. I emphasize real musical understanding over shortcuts. Strong listening skills change how you play. My goal is to help students trust their ears.

My approach to teaching guitar is built around creativity, structure, and confidence. I help students understand how music is created from simple ideas. Technique supports expression at every level. I also support lyrical composition, focusing on meaning and clarity. Words and music must work together. Acoustic arranging is part of building a complete sound. We focus on dynamics and pacing. I support expressive guitarists and those driven to write original songs. I encourage independence and originality. Students learn to organize ideas into finished pieces. Confidence grows through creation. We shape musical stories together.
