About Karin

I'm a kind and enthusiastic guitarist with 10+ years experience playing in bands, writing and teaching music. I have a degree in music (guitar) and have taught more than 20 students, both beginners and advanced guitar players and seen them succeed both in bands and in further education.

About the lesson

I base my guitar lessons on the needs of the student, and plan the lessons so that it will be fun and the right amount of challenging to learn. My approach to teaching is kind and encouraging, everyone can learn how to play the guitar!

Perfect! Karin is a very special person. She is obviously very talented, but also very calm, patient, kind and encouraging. My son who suffers from extreme anxiety looks forward to his lessons with Karin every week and his self esteem is increasing with each lesson. I would not hesitate in recommending Karin.

Karin's response
Oliver is always positive and hard working which makes the lessons a joy! He takes initiative and is very communicative of what he wants to learn, and asks questions until he fully understands. I am very happy about the lessons and his progress!

Karin is very a pedagogic, patient, cool, and kind guitar tutor. She's got lots of tricks and tips up her sleeve. I was soo nervous to start with guitar lessons, but she made me feel really comfortable. Karin understands where I am at with my guitar skills and challenges me just enough to make it fun and interesting without being too hard to handle. I highly recommend choosing her as a tutor, whether you’re a beginner or have played the guitar before - she's skilled enough to teach at all levels. She also gave me great tips on what gear to get, what to think about when performing and how to make the most out of my practise. Really pleased with my lessons and will absolutely keep seeing her on a regular basis!!!! THANK YOU KARIN

Karin has been a brilliant tutor for me! Our guitar lessons have covered a wide range of topics, and I've felt challenged every week. I've also been very happy with how she often demonstrates each technique through the lens of modern music, which has kept the lessons relevant and motivating. Big thumbs up
