About Grace

Hi! My name is Grace. I'm an 18 year old music enthusiast currently taking a gap year after studying Music, Biology and English Literature at A-Level. During this time I'm hoping to share my love of music and the guitar through engaging, challenging and fun lessons. I have previous experience leading music and performing arts groups and love working with others. I am looking forward to continuing my passion when I study Music Production and Performance at university next year!

About the lesson

Qualifications include Distinction in Grade 5 Electric Guitar and a Distinction* Level 3 Music Diploma. Previous experience teaching young people in performing arts clubs and leading pit bands has given me strong communication, leadership and collaboration skills. Working with students in different settings has taught me how to adapt my teaching methods for different learners, ensuring sessions are always fun and engaging. However my sessions aren't just for younger students, anyone of any age is welcome to have a go, from complete beginners to those around grade 3-4 standard. So whether you're picking up the guitar for the first time or looking to build on your foundations, lessons are tailored to support your learning goals! Sessions will last between 30-60 minutes depending on your preference and will cover everything from music theory, to parts of the guitar, to fun and catchy play-alongs!

Grace tutored my young niece and she has come on a treat. She is practising more regularly. The way Grace explains and demonstrates is spot on for a young person new to the guitar.
