Super tutor

Mia is one of the best tutors in English. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Mia

I am an experienced tutor with approximately five years of experience supporting students across secondary and VCE education.

My academic background spans pharmaceutical science and economics at RMIT University, disciplines that have strengthened my analytical reasoning, critical thinking and written communication skills.

I have also contributed to a multidisciplinary lunar rover design team, gaining experience in collaborative problem-solving and communicating complex ideas.

As the co-founder of study studio, I am passionate about creating a learning environment where students feel supported, challenged and encouraged to develop confidence in their abilities.

My approach to English tutoring combines detailed feedback, clear explanations and structured practice.

I believe every student is capable of becoming a stronger writer when provided with the right guidance, strategies and encouragement.

About the lesson

As the co-founder of study studio, I provide students with access to a specially developed online learning platform created in collaboration with other tutors.

This platform is integrated into our lessons, creating a structured learning experience that extends beyond traditional one-on-one tutoring.

Students receive access to:

- Premium English study resources and revision guides

- Structured essay-writing and analytical frameworks

- A personalised student dashboard

- Assigned practice activities and homework

- Lesson information and organised learning materials

- Academic progress tracking and personalised feedback

The platform is designed to help students practise independently, revisit challenging concepts and develop their skills consistently between lessons.

Choosing my tutoring means gaining access to both personalised teaching and a dedicated academic support platform.

Whether students need assistance developing foundational writing skills or refining their responses for VCE assessments, I tailor each lesson to their individual learning needs.

Wonderful and polite tutor, very soft spoken and professional. My daughter is very shy and was struggling to ask her teacher for help in class, but felt very comfortable asking Mia. She clearly helped explain tough concepts like percentage conversions and helped my daughter achieve well above average for her NAPLAN. Will be having her as a long term tutor for my daughter!
