About John

I am a multitinstrumentalist artist/teacher/producer with job placement possibilities as well as academic tutoring capabilities. I can teach Drumset, World Percussion, Guitar, and Piano. I enjoy sharing music with everyone!

johnny

I love music! All styles! I love to play music all day and night! I enjoy the feeling of music in my soul! I also enjoy sharing music with people around the world while experiencing other cultural styles of music! I enjoy listening and dancing too, but I love the process of learning to play well and polishing a music ability!

I started teaching at high school level and continue to teach privately. My students usually turn pro after 3 years or so. Some students just want to learn to play for fun as well!

I have been a self employed professional musician for 30 plus years and have a music degree from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. I also have many other college credits and working on a music doctorate degree. I have two Albums and am knowledgeable in the process of making and selling music. Music is always super fun and enjoyable to all! Lessons are usually 1 hour long. Johnny

About the lesson

Assessment then recommendations along with personal curriculum depending on students personal goals and learning desires.

I work with all types and ages of students! I have high school teaching experience as well as private teaching. One of my students went on to play with Usher! I have students that play solo jobs at restaurants and special events. Some people just want to play for themselves or like to write music and learn different songs to sing or play!

Have fun! Take it light! Just enjoy and practice for how ever far you want to go!

I just got back from playing a nice gig in Cabo, Mexico! I’m fond and thankful for all of the nice events happening!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Just be natural and see how things work out. Perhaps ask yourself what kind of songs you would like to learn?
