Experienced tutor in Guitar in Lenexa, Andrew offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

What I like about working with Dru is his enthusiasm for his students to not only learn guitar but enjoy themselves during the process. Dru exhibits a wealth of knowledge and teaching experience, that anyone would be lucky to find and work with. I have been working with Dru for 7 months and I know I wouldn’t have progressed to this extent on my music adventure without the environment he created and the attitude he brings to every lesson.

I have been with Dru for about 2 years now and I am more than happy with my choice in teacher. He works at the students pace, goes in depth with his lessons, and teachers requested songs! I would recommend him to any wannabes or current guitar player.

Dru does a really wonderful job at gearing your lessons towards what you want to focus on while including all aspects of learning how to play and music theory. As an adult learning guitar for the first time, I had sort of specific goals as to what I would like to do and he has been the perfect teacher for me! He is a wonderful artist in all regards, so if you're hoping to also sing and play he's great for that too. Highly, highly recommend!

He is such a reliable teacher, and not only that but he moves at your pace and makes everything easy to understand, while still pushing you to where you need to get. His humor and overall character makes the lessons go from,a tense practice, to something that I look forward to each week, where you get to learn so much not only about your instrument, but also music theory as a whole. I could not recommend someone better fit for the job as your music teacher!!

Dru is an amazing teacher. He evaluates where you are and what your goals are. He then custom designs lessons using real songs that you can choose to give real-world examples of the material learned. Nicest guy, super talented, and very flexible.
At first I may have been a little bit skeptical about taking lessons via Zoom but it is seamless and the platform works just as though you're in the room with him. It is pretty amazing how you can play a chord and his trained ear can hear if you're finger is muting the 5th or the 7th by accident.
Dru has helped me actually begin to understand music and the structure and theory behind it. The price is so very affordable and worth every single penny.
I highly recommend that anyone interested in a teacher check him out. It's convenient, fun and he will absolutely get you where you're trying to get to with your music. 5 stars.

Dru's energy is so awesome! Never thought about an online guitar lessons for my son (11year old), but Dru was referred to us and we couldn't be happier! He also enjoys his weekly classes and always have fun while he learns! He really likes that Dru checks in with him individually and the best part for our son is that he is learning new songs every week from his own list. Dru is a really great teacher!!!

Dru’s one of the most enthusiastic people I’ve ever met. He always shows up with a positive attitude making lessons so much more fun. Dru’s immense passion for teaching and music also make him such a great teacher.
