About Katie
Want your child to have a healthy alternative to racking up screen time? Are you looking for a skill and passion your child can develop for the rest of their life? Perhaps you’d like your child to have a great way to de-stress and express their feelings in a healthy way.
I specialize in teaching piano, guitar and voice lessons to children ages 4-13. My goal is to light a passion for music and performance in all my students by teaching a wide range of genres from classical to contemporary pop. Performance opportunities are available, including formal recitals, open mics, and coffee shop concerts. Practice routines are built into the lessons to provide a rich platform for parent-child bonding.

When I was 14 I was attening Rock and Blues Academy studying under Mr. Dave Shepard and he started a stuent-teacher program that met every friday to learn different techniques in teaching and understanding different styles of learning.
From there I taught at RnB Academy until the end of highschool when I also taught at Music Factory.
In college I taught at both Rockatar and Don Banks Music, after graudating I wanted to embark on my own adventure and I opened up my own studio as Kammerer Music!
I hold a bachelors degree in Music! With a focus in classical piano and jazz guitar.
I have been teaching music lessons now for about 9 years and loving it!

My goal in teaching is to inspire passion and let the next generation embark on their music journey.
