About Gerard
Have you heard of the movie "Barbie"? My name is Gerard McHugh and I wrote the song "Thin Line" for the Indigo Girls who are now enjoying worldwide success due to their appearance on the soundtrack of the supercool 2023 Adventure/Comedy film "Barbie". I am also an award-winning band director of children grades 7 through 12.
I have been writing and performing songs and teaching music in all styles and genres of music professionally for 42 years throughout the Southeastern and Midwestern United States. If you are curious and dedicated then with a curriculum and lessons designed just for you I will teach you the skills to play guitar, write songs, or both! Contact me and begin the adventure.
