About Eugene

I've studied music most all my life started on saxophone 5th grade went to bass guitar and 7th and 8th grade played in offshore Stage Band I was one of 10 people picked to play on the East Coast went to college for a year to studied music theory group guitar play it in a few bands I have stage experience and I am on permanent disability right now so my schedule is open I could give lessons anytime my Skype that is good for the clients. I can teach students how to read music how to pull scales off of cords and vice versa I can also teach and tablature chord formation and basically just any tunes that they might want to learn for their personal playing pleasure

I started playing when I was 13 years old when I was 11 years old I put a Jimi Hendrix album on for the first time and when I heard the beginning Rift Purple Haze I knew right then that I wanted to do that. I just love music always have.

I actually started teaching on this website I've taught people before privately but never on public media platforms

I started playing saxophone in 5th grade in Lakewood New Jersey then he started playing bass guitar in 8th grade made all shorter Stage Band was picked one out of ten people on the east coast to play then I studied music through High School and 1 year college where I took group guitar one music theory, and I've also played in a few bands, have stage experience and I also went to Institute of Audio Research in New York

About the lesson

I basically teach beginner students.would start out by showing them a few basic chords, and basic penatonic scales . Then show them how the scales fit together with the courds they have learned. I find when first starting out your basic 12 bar bluse is easiest to work with. It usually doesn't take long to see how the scales and chords work together and how the cords are formed off of the scales. Students are usually playing 12 Bar Blues, within a week then they can record theirselves playing the Rhythm and use the scales that I teach them to play over The Rhythm cuz once they start hearing theirselves sounding good in a short amount Of time they tend not to get discouraged too quickly.

I've worked with mostly beginner students people who know little or nothing at all about playing guitar

I would say to just find somebody that you're comfortable with some people really don't have the Knack to teach their players still expect you to get it right away. And for beginner student you really have to start out slow so they retain the knowledge

The student should most likely let the teacher know what kind of style a playing but they are basically shooting for

this website days are usually going for $20 a half an hour which I think is ridiculous so I will charge 20 an hour because I don't think you can really maintain the lesson and a half an hour but if you go over for an hour I believe it will stay fresher in the customer's mind
