About Mona Rae
Music has always been a part of my life, having had a mother that was a music teacher in the public school system, getting my passion flowing as well! I've been playing guitar for over 40 years and made a very good living performing professionally for 30+ years as well as teaching privately. Beginner guitar, piano, some woodwind. I also focus on performance skills, vocals, even theory if needed or wanted! This is my passion and I absolutely love what I do! We'll definitely have fun!!
I also help people pick out their guitars at a local music store and beginners are great! Seeing someone, no matter what age, their excitement picking out their first instrument! Maybe they want to sing and play professionally, maybe just write music or want to play "just because" but no matter what the reason it's a great feeling to be able to pass my passion and knowledge onto others with the same love for music, no matter what genre!
