About Sandi

Hi! I’m an experienced and friendly English teacher with 8 years of teaching experience in Thailand, where I worked primarily with young children learning English as a second language.

I’m passionate about helping children build confidence and develop a love of learning. My main areas of focus are phonics, pronunciation, early reading and writing, and building a strong foundation in English. I understand that every child learns differently, so I aim to make lessons fun, engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging and supportive. I create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and celebrating their progress.

Whether your child is just beginning their English journey or needs extra support with phonics and writing, I would love to help them grow in confidence and achieve their learning goals.

About the lesson

My Approach to Online English Tutoring

With 8 years of teaching experience in Thailand, I specialize in helping young children develop their English skills, with a strong focus on phonics, reading, writing and early language development.

My teaching approach is fun, patient and interactive. I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, encouraged and confident enough to try new things. I use age-appropriate activities, phonics practice, repetition, visual aids, games and guided writing exercises to make learning engaging and effective.

Each lesson is tailored to the child’s age, English level and individual learning needs. I focus on building a strong foundation in letter sounds, pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence formation and early writing skills, while encouraging children to develop confidence in using English.

Lessons typically run for 25–30 minutes, depending on the child’s age, concentration span and learning goals. I aim to create a positive, supportive environment where every child feels successful and motivated to keep learning.

Having spent eight years teaching in Thailand, I understand the importance of adapting my teaching style to suit young English language learners. I bring patience, practical classroom experience and a genuine passion for helping children progress at their own pace.

My lessons are ideal for preschool and primary school-aged children, particularly beginners and young learners who want to improve their phonics, pronunciation, reading, writing and foundational English skills.

My goal is to make learning English enjoyable, build confidence and help every child develop the skills they need for future success.
