About Tom

I am a singer/songwriter and producer with a decade of experience in the music industry. I have a first class honours degree from the Academy of Contemporary Music to which I was awarded a full songwriting scholarship from The Ivor’s Academy.

About the lesson

My teaching methods are based around practical activities. If you’re someone wanting to learn the guitar, I will get you playing guitar, if you’re wanting to advance your songwriting, I will get you writing songs! I cater my lessons for all different ability levels and ensure that students have fun whilst improving their skills.

Perfect! Tom is such a great teacher! I pretty much went from complete beginner to strumming my favourite songs! We always have a laugh during lessons yet still get lots of learning done! Highly highly highly recommend !!

I was self taught on my guitar from a young age. Over the years my skill deteriorated and I decided I wanted to really commit into expanding my skills. That’s where Tom comes in - not only a fantastic teacher but overall great and relatable person. He instilled a confidence in me that meant I was able to overcome the fear of re learning. We took it back to basics and have been flying ever since - couldn’t recommend more!
