About Camilo
Experience:
I have been teaching privately for over five years, and since 2018 I have been delivering weekly individual lessons to twnty pupils at the Bishop Douglass School, in Barnet.
I am due to graduate from a MMUS in Popular Music at Goldsmiths in November. I currently hold a BMUS in Popular Music Performance, as well as a LRSL Music Teaching Diploma.
As a guitarist, I am currently focused in my band Rhumba Club, with whom we have hit over 200.000 streams on Spotify and were featured as artist of the week for BBC Jersey.

I taylor each lesson to each student, so that it can be an engaging and enriching experience every single time. To do this, I encourage and help the student to explore their own artistic identity and taste while developing their core music knowledge.
I am comfortable teaching the music curriculum to both GCSE and A Levels. As for guitar, I am proficient in a plethora of styles ranging from blues, jazz, funk, pop, rock and neo-soul.
