About Sienna
Hello! I’m a guitar teacher with 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in World Music specializing in Guitar Traditions. My musical path blends academic learning with real performance experience across metal, shred, and progressive rock. These genres push guitar technique to exciting limits. I enjoy helping students explore them.
My lessons focus on precision and speed. Technique is developed carefully. Students practice alternate picking, sweep picking, tapping, and fast scale runs. Each exercise builds confidence.
I welcome both young learners and adult players. Everyone has unique goals. Lessons are adapted to support each musical journey.
Some students want aggressive riffs. Others want advanced solo techniques. Both are valuable skills. Music theory helps connect ideas across the fretboard. Students learn scales, modes, and phrasing. Practice becomes structured and motivating. Over time, students gain control and speed. Together we transform dedication into powerful guitar playing.

My guitar teaching approach focuses on expressive lead playing and technical control. Students learn phrasing, melodic shaping, and articulation to craft solos with intention. Lessons emphasize musicality over random note playing.
Improvisation is practiced step by step with scales, chord tones, and motifs. Blues and rock techniques such as bends, slides, vibrato, and hammer-ons are studied carefully. I teach students to create musical phrases that flow naturally and emotionally.
Some learners enjoy jazz improvisation and harmonic exploration. Others are drawn to high-energy rock and blues solos. I support both paths, guiding each student to develop their personal soloing voice. Technical skill, creativity, and listening grow together through exercises and real examples. The goal is confident, expressive soloing. Soon, you'll be shredding with confidence.
