About Izzie

I have given many beginners, and beyond, the tools to play whole songs they never thought would be possible, and can get anyone “jamming” with a few key tips and tricks. I teach all ages but have lots of experience with kids, I work at Seattle Public Schools with kids on the autism spectrum. I love playing slide blues, fingerpicking, rock, pop, metal, and singing while playing guitar! *Accepting new students in Northgate area only*

About the lesson

I love collaborating to find challenges that give you direction, accountability, and help your skills progress in whatever way is the most fun for you. It’s called PLAYING guitar, you should be having fun and enjoying yourself! And you can, at any level!

Izzie worked with my middle school aged child this year to introduce her to guitar. We could not have asked for a better instructor. Izzie was patient, clear, and helped my daughter to explore and learn to play the songs and music she was interested in while mastering the basics. It was incredible to watch her learn to play music, and learn to love both learning and playing her instrument. If you are looking for a guitar teacher for yourself, or for a loved one - we cannot recommend Izzie enough.
