About Emily
I'm an English teacher in a South East London school. I've also marked English Language Paper 1 and 2 in the past, and I teach up to A-Level English Literature. I have also had some experience in tutoring primary school children. I'm experienced in working with all ages and abilities.

I start by reviewing previous learning, whether that is something that I have set previously or work done in class. Then we will work on new skills and material. Depending on the topic, we may do exercises, or we might discuss key chapters/poems. There will usually be some form of written outcome so that I can be satisfied you have mastered the skills I have taught, and then a plenary where we agree on work to be completed before the next session.
