About Cheryl

I live in Calgary, AB. I am from Toronto, ON. I love working with students of all ages. I have worked as an Education Assistant since 2009, and have recently switched positions to being employed as an English Additional Language Assistant. I have a temporary position as an Education Assistant as well. I enjoy swimming, reading, going to the gym and going for walks.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology incorporates Differentiated Instruction (Creating lesson plans for students based on differing needs), Technology-based learning (Zoom), individual learning, Kinesthetic learning (Learning through movement-I often use hand gestures when presenting to engage students visually and kinesthetically. Students can draw or act while learning) and student-centered approach (Teachers and students play an equally active role in the learning process).

I have tutored for many years for various tutoring companies and I have tutored through self-employment. I wish to tutor students at the elementary level (K-12).

Cheryl has been teaching for many years and she loves teaching. She is very personal with her students and only cares about their well being. When she is around younger people she really gets involved like when she sees my grandchildren ( I am her mother) she shares all her time with them. She is very smart and learns fast. I highly recommend her as she is very trustworthy ,confident personal. and has a good reputation working with all students
