About Nikolas
Working for ten years in the French system has allowed me to understand the nuances in the delivery of the curriculum and the key skills needed for the student to achieve the BAC in the French educational system.
I have sat on the jury for the Baccalaureate on a number of occasions, discussing and evaluating student
work. I am bilingual, proficient in the French language.
Prior to my work in France I was lecturer at the City of Bristol College from 1995 until 2005, in the
department of Art, Design, Media and Performing Arts. within the areas of photography, both analogue and
digital, plus computer skills (Adobe). Whilst at the C of B, I also worked as a lecturer for the adult learning
City and Guilds programme, coordinated and taught evening classes.

reflect on their own development as an artist and a creator within the culture. With the aim of gaining
proficiency in the fundamentals of drawing, painting, 2D and 3D and design, but also in observing, evaluating and analysing their own work.
