About Sneha

Hello, future students! My name is Sneha Upadhyay and I am excited to have the opportunity to teach and work with you. About the lesson

When I first started teaching these young boys and girls —they are mostly in their early twenties— they acted and looked like wannabe zombies. Hardly anyone even cared to speak one single word in English, and they never ever responded to any question I asked them in class. I guessed I must do something if I wanted to keep this job. So I told them about my actual age, and immediately they got interested in me because although I am now in my early thirties, I look more or less like them with or without makeup, but if I make up my face and dress myself up in a school uniform I do look (much) younger than they are. So they started getting interested in speaking English to me.
