About Monu
Yoga lessons should always begin with basic and safe exercises. Instead of forcing your student into complex poses from day one, guide them according to their level and physical ability. For a safe and correct introduction to yoga, you can teach your student the following steps: Meaning and Importance of Yoga: Tell them that yoga is not just physical exercise, but it is a medium to connect the mind, body, and soul. Initial Warm-up (Sukshma Vyayama): Before starting the practice, do light stretching and subtle exercises to open up the joints and muscles. Pranayama and breath control: Breathing is very important in yoga. Teach them simple pranayama poses like Anulom-Vilom, Bhramari, and Kapalabhati. Basic Asanas: In the beginning, do simple asanas, such as: Tadasana (to balance the body) Vrksasana (for focus and stability) Bhujangasana (for back pain and flexibility) Balasana (for relaxation and relaxation)
