About Fanni S

Hello! I'm Fanni S. Major, a yoga teacher, personal trainer and Wellness Coach. I am originally an economist, but my passion for movement and healthy eating led me to this path. I have 3 years of experience of giving personalized yoga and physical training classes (women). I started practicing yoga 7 years ago in Hungary (HathaYoga and Vinyasa Flow) and I only got deeper and deeper into this wonderful universe, as I felt in myself the positive effects like contentment, freedom of movement, more energy, body awareness, quality of breathing… I practiced here in Portugal Ashtanga at Casa Vinyasa and for a year I have been practicing with Liliana Nuño ('OSSEUS' method). This June I will complete the first year of your training 'Yoga and Somatic Education'. I have vast knowledge in the area of healthy eating, not about current fad diets but general guidelines based on the laws of human physiology. As a Wellness Coach, I am always on your side so that you will achieve your goal of health and well-being. Be it better posture, eating healthier in general, adapting to some new diet, more muscle tone, weight loss, balance between body-mind, less anxiety, better ability to concentrate and mindfulness, better connection with yourself, etc. . All of this is a process, a change and adaptation, so challenges, doubts, lack of motivation will arise. It's normal. I am here to find practical solutions, clarify doubts and strengthen your 'determination muscle', with a holistic approach. If you are interested, do not hesitate to send a message.

About the lesson

Traditional Hatha Yoga with elements of Ashtanga and the OSSEUS method (using bone connections and the force of gravity). The main focuses of my classes are 1) student / student safety 2) cultivating being present and mind and body awareness. Depending on the specific body and the preference of each one, the class can be more dynamic (vinyasa flow), more restorative to release deep tensions, more technical for beginners, etc. When sharing this ancient technique, my role is to understand the unique needs of the student or student and adapt the practice at each moment accordingly.
