About Andrew
I've been studying economics since I was 18 and that is now more years than I care to admit to! :)
It has been vital for my career, but what I believe is often missed is how useful a good understanding of economics is in everyday life, for everyone. After all, "the economy" is just a collective word used for the billions of daily transactions we all make. Understanding why people buy or sell products, the prices they charge, why these prices go up (or down), what encourages people to supply more (or less) of something, is crucial to understand what is going on around us. More importantly, an understanding of economics give you the tools to try to work out where things are going to go next, and help you to prepare for that. It also gives you a way to assess whether your government is doing a good job or not!
If you've decided to do A level economics, you are on the road to giving yourself important skills and understanding for the rest of your life. Even if you don't become an economist (and most won't or wish to), it will be economics that impacts your job, your business, your personal finances, buying a house, buying a car, the quality of your public services .... basically, everything.

Offers tutoring to Lower and Upper Sixth A level Economics students. Happy to run through whole syllabus or focus on key areas of individual difficulty. Ensure that the basic building blocks of economic theory are in place to simplify student progress into more complex areas and ideas. Stress importance of exam technique to demonstrate student knowledge. Good grades are achieved not just by knowing your stuff - it's also about showing the examiner that you know it!
Sessions of 1 hour, but will do longer if required. Available most evenings, but also potential to arrange sessions during the day if required.
