About Tomos
I have recently graduated from Cardiff Medical School. Throughout medical school I enjoyed teaching in an informal capacity. In my final year, I became a PALS tutor for the medical school, and found it to be very rewarding, so have continued to teach since then. More than anything I enjoy learning, and every lesson I prepare is an opportunity to learn something new!

I have a passion for the life and physical sciences, and the history behind them! I am inclined to make my lessons structured but can adapt my teaching style to each student's needs. My usual lessons are split roughly 60:40 between teaching the curriculum's content and practicing exam questions. I enjoy relating the course content to my own experiences from dissecting the human body to the cellular and molecular techniques used in research. I also believe that the history of science - how we know what we know - can help us learn better, as it allows us to relate pieces of knowledge to the often colourful characters that uncovered them in the first place. But happy to keep a laser focus on the curriculum if that's how the student learns best! Also able to help with medical school application, entrance exams and interview preparation
