About the lesson

My tutoring focuses on fostering a student's intrinsic motivation and building a strong conceptual understanding, rather than rote memorisation. My tutoring techniques are tailored to the individual student's learning style and needs. This includes active learning strategies like collaborative problem-solving and real-world application exercises. My teaching methodology is heavily influenced by constructivist principles, emphasising the student's active role in constructing their own knowledge. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking risks. My qualifications include a comprehensive understanding of my subjects from my undergraduate degree in English and French from the University of Warwick.
