About Aryan
I'm a mathematics and statistics major at the University of Toronto. Day to day I work on a machine learning team applying statistics to problems in biology, which is exactly what physics asks you to do: take a messy situation, decide what matters, make it quantitative.
Several years of tutoring math and physics. My students are mostly Grade 11 and 12, chasing a specific mark for engineering or life sciences, where physics is a prerequisite and not a choice.
I am not interested in getting you through one test. Physics builds relentlessly, and shaky kinematics becomes a much worse problem once momentum and energy show up. I would rather spend an extra session making the foundation hold than patch it and watch it fail in April.
I will also tell you when something is genuinely hard instead of pretending it is obvious. Most students who think they are bad at physics have just never had anyone slow down at the right moment.

I tutor Grade 11 and 12 physics, and I come at it from the mathematical side. That matters more than it sounds.
Most students who struggle in these courses do not actually misunderstand the physics. They lose marks on the algebra, on setting the problem up before solving it, and on not spotting which equation the question is pointing at. Kinematics, forces, energy, momentum, circular motion, fields, waves: all of it rewards the same habit. Draw the situation. Name what you know. Pick the relationship that connects it to what you want.
A typical lesson starts with a problem you got wrong. We work out whether the gap was conceptual or mechanical, because the fix is completely different. Then we build from a worked example to problems you do alone while I watch, which is the part that actually tells us whether it stuck.
I work from your teacher's handouts, labs, and past tests. Physics teachers vary a lot in what they want to see in a full solution, and those marks are free once you know.

I started working with Aryan in grade 12 because I was honestly really behind in math and I felt like I was still trying to understand stuff from grade 10 while everyone else had already moved on. I was struggling a lot in class and mostly just memorizing steps without really knowing why anything worked.
Aryan basically went back and filled in all the gaps I had instead of just trying to help me survive whatever we were doing that week. He explained things in a way that actually made sense to me and would keep finding different ways to explain something if I wasn’t getting it. We went from reviewing pretty basic stuff to doing grade 12 material and even some harder questions in less than a semester, which I genuinely did not think I was capable of before.
He’s also really easy to learn from because I never felt embarrassed asking questions, even if it was something I probably “should’ve” already known. By the end I was way more confident in math and actually understood what I was doing instead of guessing my way through tests lol. I would 100% recommend him, especially if you feel really behind because he’s good at figuring out exactly where things stopped making sense and building you back up from there.I worked with Aryan while I was in Grade 10 because I wanted to learn more advanced math beyond what we were doing in school. He taught me measure theory and helped me understand ideas that initially seemed really abstract, like sigma-algebras, measures, and why a lot of results in probability and analysis are formulated the way they are. What I liked most was that he didn’t just go through definitions and proofs mechanically — he would explain the intuition behind them and then help me work through examples until I could reason about the concepts myself. He was also really good at adjusting the pace depending on what I already understood. I’d definitely recommend Aryan to students who want to go beyond the standard curriculum or learn higher-level math in a more approachable way.
Aryan has been tutoring me in Grade 11 Advanced Functions and Trigonometry. I started working with him because I was having trouble understanding some of the concepts in class, especially trig. He’s really patient and explains things in a way that’s much easier to understand than just reading the textbook. We usually go through the concepts first and then work through questions together, and he makes sure I actually understand why I’m doing each step instead of just memorizing it. He’s also easy to ask questions and doesn’t make you feel bad if you don’t understand something right away. I’d definitely recommend Aryan if you need help with math or want to feel more confident with the material.
Aryan has been tutoring me in Grade 12 calculus, and he’s been really helpful at explaining concepts in a way that actually makes sense. He doesn’t just show me how to get the answer—he explains why each step works and helps me understand the ideas behind the formulas. He’s patient when I’m confused and is good at finding a different way to explain something if I don’t get it the first time. I feel much more confident with calculus after working with him and would definitely recommend him as a tutor.

First thirty minutes free. Bring a test that did not go the way you wanted and we will work out where the marks went. No cost, no obligation.
Everything is included in the hourly rate: practice problems, past exam questions, and the problem sets I put together between sessions around whatever you are finding hardest. No separate charge for preparation or materials, and no travel fee.
Packs: 5 hours for $130 and 10 hours for $240, which works out to $24 an hour. Most students book weekly through a semester, and that is what actually moves a grade.
Online lessons are the same rate as in person.
Honestly, I teach because I enjoy it. If the rate is the only thing standing in the way, message me and we will sort something out.
