About Mia
I am currently studying a bachelor degree in Medical Neuroscience at Sussex university, aiming towards completing a PhD in Neurology.
I have completed Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE with flying colours and my passion for science led me to study Biology and Psychology at A level. I also completed an EPQ on the microbiome, studying the symbiotic relationship we have with microorganisms.
I am a friendly and bubbly person, here to help you understand and achieve the amazing things you're capable of! together we can boost your grades and your confidence. I am part of numerous societies at my university; for example the neuroscience society, where we revise together, discuss scientific papers and talk about the science outside of our curriculum.
I have volunteered at my local library, helping kids with reading and with family craft sessions. In addition to this I help my brother and my boyfriends siblings with their secondary education. I enjoy working with a wide range of people and I tailor my lessons to make it personal for you!

In my lessons I will set out objectives and questions for us to focus on, based on your needs, with a recap at the end. In our first meeting I would like us to get to know each other a bit and see what you need to work on so we can create a timetable/goals for our time together. During our lessons I can also help you with revision techniques and time managing skills tailored to your exams and needs, I completely understand how overwhelming it can all be!

I find it difficult reading and writing as I suffer with dyslexia (Googled how to spell that haha) Mia has taught me little tricks and tips to help proof read my important emails etc. She also helps me understand where I've gone wrong and how to fix it. I'm a difficult person to live with already so if she can deal with me, trust me when I say she will definitely enjoy teaching you. She is passionate about her subjects, kind and understanding
