About Sonali
Hello! I'm Sonali. I was born in the United States and spent the first half of my life there before moving to India, where I completed my higher education. My passion for maths and science led me to pursue a degree in engineering at Oxford, where I had the opportunity to meet talented students from all around the world. My international experiences have given me a unique perspective and the ability to connect effortlessly with people from diverse backgrounds. I am now incredibly excited to instill in others my enthusiasm for learning!
Besides my academic interests, my hobbies include playing the electric guitar (I was in two student bands at university!), making charms with polymer clay, drawing portraits, and a more recent knack for crocheting.

I have recently graduated from St. Hugh's College, University of Oxford, where I studied Engineering Science (MEng). This is a holistic course, where the first two years encompass all aspects of engineering, and the final two allow for choosing a wide variety of modules. My specialization has been in information engineering (machine learning and AI, robotics, software, control systems, electronics and optics, etc.), but I have a good foundation in other fields as well.
I have a deep passion for math, science, and the joy of learning, and offer personalized and engaging tutoring sessions designed to inspire and achieve academic success. I offer both in-person and remote lessons, tailored to fit your needs. While sessions are typically an hour long, my priority is ensuring that students fully grasp the material. I create an open and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking any questions. Your understanding and success are what matter most to me.
