About Luke
During my time at The University of Alabama, I have worked on research projects, gotten work experience, and participated in numerous extra-curriculars. My research was on Temperature Swing Solvent Extraction in the Chemical Engineering department. I received 2nd place in the Engineering division at the 2022 URCA research conference. I participated in a CO-OP for a plastics company called SABIC and interned at a consulting firm called Insight Sourcing Group. While in undergrad, I was a member of the Randall Research Scholars, the ECDC Career and Co-op Ambassadors, Mortar Board Honor Society, ODK Honor Society, and Freshman Forum all while I maintained a 3.866 GPA in Chemical Engineering.

As someone with ADD, I understand the struggle of trying to learn a complex topic with a short attention span. I try to make my lessons entertaining and pass along some the tips and tricks I have learned along the way. My background is in chemical engineering so I can help with most STEM based classes for students in middle and high school. I have had many opportunities to work with high school students like mentoring a high school robotics team and working with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. I love sports and would connect well with student-athletes.
