About Ismail

Hi, I’m Ismail, a third-year Economics BSc student at the University of Nottingham. During my A-levels, I had the privilege of learning from some fantastic tutors, which has taught me how to create engaging and interactive lessons that bring out the best in students.

About the lesson

I believe that making mistakes is crucial for learning, and I’m here to help students turn their mistakes into strengths. Using techniques like active recall, past paper evaluation, and content repetition, I can guide students in improving their understanding and performance.

I’m also great at quickly identifying areas where students struggle and providing targeted support to help them improve. Since I completed my A-levels in 2022, I’m very familiar with the current specifications and can offer valuable advice on tackling exam questions and directing students to the best resources.

I’m flexible with my availability and fluent in English. I prefer teaching online/virtually. I am happy to deliver in-person lessons if the student lives within a commutable distance I.e. Nottingham area.
